down the triglycerides (molecules stored in the fat cells into free

Lymphatic Drainage
Our lymphatic system plays a very important role in keeping
us healthy. It removes waste material and excess fluids in the deeper
layers of our skin. It helps protect and maintain the internal fluid
environment of our entire body by communicating closely with our bloodstream.
The lymphatic system consists of lymph vessels, nodes and organs.
The lymph vessels transport lymph fluid between the blood
and body cells, just like veins and arteries carry our blood. Lymph
Nodes are placed along the course these lymph vessels and act like filters
to "clean" the lymph fluid. The purified lymph fluid rejoins
the blood circulatory system at two points just below the collar bone.
The lymph fluid not only removes waste from the body's
