Danish Heart Ornament

Traditionally, these ornaments are made in red and white and used to decorate Danish homes at Christmas.

Materials:

Two pieces of colourful paper at least 10cm x 10cm
Thread or ribbon
A few small candies or other gifts

Template of circle 10cm in diameter
Scissors
Glue

	Using the template, cut out two circles from the coloured paper.
	Fold both circles in half, then slide one inside the other.
	Glue them together to make a pocket.
	Make a hole at the top and thread a ribbon through.
	Place sweets or a gift inside the pocket in the heart.
