Acupuncture & Health

Acupuncture means 'needle pricking' in Latin. It is a form of healing that has been used by the Chinese for over five thousand years. Acupuncture is a means of harmonising the flow of life energy in the body by stimulating the autonomic nervous system, to correct any dysfunction present.

Good health is the result of the harmony and balance of mental, physical and environmental conditions. By needling carefully selected points, the circulation of energy in the body is restored, and the return of good health accelerated. Nowadays, completely painless laser acupuncture can be used instead of the needle. This has the added advantages of being able to treat babies, as well as a larger area of the body and provide very precise continual stimulation, penetrating of up to a centimetre and quick application.

Dr. Tseung has successfully used the laser on many patients since 1984 and has found it to be as effective as the needle.
