The big day for Alice and I was on 1 July 2000. With only 2 weeks notice, many people thought it was pretty much a rushed marriage, but the truth was, we decided to get married when I was notified about my Brunei contract ending, which was mid May. We were waiting till Alice had an engagement ring on her finger before annoucing the wedding, but as Brunei has only extremely tacky rings, we weren't about to buy one there.

Anyway, after arriving to KK an extremely hectic and stressful two weeks followed in which we got engaged and started arranging the wedding day. Julian, my Best Man, in these trying times provided much moral and physical support remotely from Brunei.

Alas, in the end, after some seriously last minute organisation, everything turned out perfect. This page is a step-by-step account of the day. Click on the images above for a bigger picuter.
