Tal your bat mitzvah has finally arrived and I have to be nice to you for a
change.
Oi Gavoult!!!
You have had to put up with me for 11 long years; personally I don't know how you do it. It is probably this darling face that makes it so easy (make puppy face)
Tal, you were always trying to keep me quiet. For example when I was a crying toddler you stuffed my face with cookies.
Well, sis, you might have kept me quiet then but it won't work now. . Remember, I am in charge and I have the mike!
Tal, you've had a great seven years in mount Sinai. You have shone in all areas. Maybe now that you have left the teachers will start to notice me. As if they haven't yet.
You seem to be better than I am in a lot of things.
But one thing that I am better at is skiing. You always take the scenic ruit, zigzagging slowly down the mountain. I prefer the adrenalin rush so I go the fastest way down.
I've had a few accidents but you were always there to cheer me up. In fact you have always been my great comforter. Thanks, Tal.
I've also comforted you on some occasions. Like when you came home from school crying because Simon was being mean to you. I was there for you.
Tal, I have to admit (although this is hard), you do look beautiful tonight. Safta has really taught you the fine points of fashion and it paid off. Thanks, Safta.
Not only do you like fashion, you love jewellery! Sapphire is your birthstone and you closely resemble the precious gem. You are prized because of your beauty and worth. But one thing's for sure, you seldom are blue like the sapphire.
Tal, you were born in the year of the dragon and that in the oriental zodiac. That is meant to be a lucky sign. But I think I'm the lucky one to have a sister like you.
Thanks, Tal, for you friendship, comforting and for just being you.
