Patrol Guide |
Job Description: The patrol Guide is the elected leader of his patrol. He represents his patrol on the Gold Bar council. Rank Insignia: Two Gold Bars Reports to: Senior patrol Guide. Patrol leader duties: Appoints the assistant patrol leader. Represents the patrol on the Gold Bar council. Plans and steers patrol meetings. Helps Rangers advance Acts as the chief recruiter of new Rangers. Keeps patrol members informed. Knows what his patrol members and other leaders can do. Sets a good example Wears the Ranger uniform correctly Lives by the Ranger Code and Motto Shows Ranger spirit. |
Senior Patrol Guide |
Job Description: The senior patrol guide appointed by the Commander. he coordinates the activities of the patrols and serves as a liason leader between the patrols and the commander. Rank Insignia: Three Gold Bars Reports to: Commander Senior patrol leaders duties: Calls the roll. Runs the Gold Bar council meeting. Encourage the patrol guides in carrying out their duties. Evalute each patrol to see if it is measuring up to the standards of the Outpost. Assign duties and responsibilities to guides.. Assists the Commander with Gold Bar training. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Ranger uniform correctly. Lives by the Ranger code and motto.. Shows Ranger spirit. |
Assistant Patrol Guide |
Job Description: The assistant patrol guide is elected by his patrol and leads the patrol in his absence. Rank Insignia: One Gold Bar Reports to: Patrol guide. Assistant Patrol guide duties: Helps the patrol leader plan and steer patrol meetings and activities. Helps him keep patrol members informed. Helps the patrol get ready for all Outpost activities. Represents his patrol at Gold Bar meetings when the patrol guide cannot attend. |
