Marc is a self taught guitar player, receiving no lessons of any
kind. He immediately became interested in the guitar, which became his
first and only instrument. His influences include Slipknot, Metallica,
Alice in Chains, and most prominently, the musical style of Pearl Jam's
Mike McCready. Marc's first band was "Vintage 78" in which he was lead
guitarist, and current band member Greg Samijlenko as lead vocalist. Marc
favors ESP guitars , playing a discontinued 6 string model Explorer, and
a 7 string model with custom electronics. Crate and Randall amplifiers
no longer available linked to a custom cabinet array produce the Overture
guitar sound.
