    Escape route to Lonavla

    • Incense sticks had been lighted up to say " a welcome in India to everybody on the board." My neighboor had just fineshed last glass of whisky, when the plane landed in the foggy-boggy haze of Bombay international airport.

Bombay airport

  • Going through large komplex of arrival halls was taking my last bit of confidance. Dirty walls and ceilling with big fans attached to it, made me feel to back in the 19 century'Europe. Air was so humid and desinfaction odour makes all sick. Stamp in my passport, picking up my backpack and hesitating before getting out. Like something really unsure and unexpectable was right there outside. Fear?

Morning in the maze of ruins and boulders of by muslim destroyed city "Hampi"(god's owned place)

First touch
  • Steping out of the door gives me last kick at all. My confidence was currently equal zero. I've got to go through crowd of black indian fellows. All staring at me. Easy victim you hero? I know, I certainly am. Looking for the riksaws, however finding just taxi cars. It was midnight all dark and so foreign. Desperate? Close to.

  • First of them hooked me up. I mean first of those business people searching around for bit of cash. It didn't take him too much effort to sell me a ticket to Pune for I guess double price. Fair enough. Just get out of here. At 2am we were setting off.

Karla, Bhaja caves

  • One of my new indian friends in minibus travelling to Pune made me awaken. Lonavla teahouse. I quickly realise I didn't help myself too much. At loss what to do? Luckily, a great man from tearoom supplied me with abondance of ginger tea. Futher conversation unveiled the way to the Karla caves. Soon more people got engaged in talking than I could comfortably accept. However they spoke marhathi.

  • First bus leaving around 4AM. I desided to go straight to the bus stand. It was a incredibly dirty place. Couple of people just cleaned up rubbish from the square in front of it. Spitted floor and a lot of people sleeping next to each other. Half naked driver just getting out of bathroom, screaming at me where to find my bus. Bus? It must be 100years old monster. I was looking for door. Finally I got in.

  • Two locals covered in the blankets waking up when I was looking for the seat. Half an hour later somebody trying to kick me off from my seat. Misunderstanding? He had taken my seat. How rude? At least we got moved after the signal of condacter from my previous seat. Long line connected the seat with ring next to driver. Bus like tank was jumping on the postholes of bad road. The hills surrounded this valley started showing up in the first sun rays. My first indian morning wasn't finally so bad.
