INTERNATIONAL
RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL FOR BOYS & GIRLS
OBJECTIVES:
We
aspire to provide quality education. The students are prepared
for examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Secondary
Board of Education, English medium. Panchgani, an evergreen
hill station is a well-known educational center, located 4300
feet above sea level in the Western Ghats. It is 190 miles
south of Mumbai and 75 miles south of Pune. National Public
School is a unique environment to impart value-based education
with opportunities for moral upbringing. School activities
include regular debates entertainment programmes camps, excursions
and inter-school competitions. Besides academic pursuits there
are all kinds of sports and games such as Table Tennnis, Billiards
etc. have a place in the school's programmes.
CURRICULUM:
1. National Public School offers education from standard 1st
to 10 (S.S.C.) 2. It also undertakes to train students for the
National Open School.
3. It also offers short-term special coaching classes in English.

ADMISSION:
Admission is open to all irrespective of caste, creed and
aommunity. Application should be made on the printed form
available from office. No application will be considered until
all specefied requirements are met and will not be answered
for rejecftion of any application for admission.
1. The following certificates are to be attached to the application
for admission.

Original
Birth Certificate.
-
Latest
progress report from the previous school.

Recent
Medical Report signed by a registered doctor.

Transfer
certificate from the previous school.
2. The
concerned Education officer should sign T.C. if the student
is from other states.
3. T.C. will be accepted only from a recognized school.
4. T.C. should be countersigned by the appropriate officer
of the Indian Embassy / consulate of that country in India
if the student is from abroad.
5. Admission will be confirmed only after payment of non-refundable
fees.
WITHDRAWAL:
In
case of withdrawal of a student at the end of the year the
parents should notify their intention in writing before the
end of February. Three months' notice is required for any
withdrawal during the year, failing which security deposit
will be forfeited. T.C. will not be issued unless all dues
are cleared and accounts of the school are settled.
HOSTEL:
Ours
is a residential school and has a hostel for boys and girls
under the care of experienced staff. It provides an environment
for comfordable living, which will facilitate the best of
academic pursuits.
SPIRITUAL:
Moral
and religious teaching is an important part of the formative
programme of the school and the boarding. The students will
be initiated into the scriptural teaching of all prominent
religious.
MEALS:
Vegetarian
and non-vegetarian meals are served. Special care is taken
to see that students' meals are balanced, wholesome and nutritious.
MEDICAL:
Panchgani
is famous for its good climate and children usually keep good
health. However the school has entrusted the total medical
care of the student to qualified and experienced doctors.
If a student is ill for more than two days or if he or she
needs specialized medical care, the parents / guardians will
be informed immediately.
VALUABLES:
The hostel does not permit any valuable under the custody of
the boarders and hence will not be responsible for loss of any.
EXEATS:
Parents
or local guardians are permitted to take wards out on weekends
with the written permission from the office in a month. Reporting
back from exeats will be strictly before 6.00 P.M.
VACATIONS:
The school has 3 vacations.
Summer Vacation : April - May
Monsoon Vacation : August - September
Winter Vacation : November - December
No boarders shall be allowed to stay back in the hostel during
vacations. However, students from abroad can be kept in the
hostel with special permission.
