Many Tools - 2001

On other pages, I mentioned my mighty tool collection. Well, here they are. Some of the close ups can be seen on the other shop pages. Every tool has it's place. Hammers are grouped by type. each handle has a cup hook on the bottom. Ball peen hammers, are in rows according to size. Claw hammers, cross pean hammers, everything together. There are racks of pliers, screw drivers. Hooks for saws, levels, I have a lot of stuff, but I also know where everything is.

More tools. A small cabinet on the floor, holds a few machetes. Hooks for pipe wrenches (I think I have about 25 of them). Hammers, about 50 or so. The rack in this picture has oddball tools, some of the things that I still havn't identified yet. I have a place for screws. Next to that are all the calipers and dividers.

Tools on the ceiling, tools hanging off of pipes, and wire shelves. This rack holds onto bit braces, paint rollers and wall paper supplies. To the right (can't be seen), hangs all my clamps. Another shelf holds spools of wire, and all my mallets - rawhide, plastic, wood, and rubber.

The shop is divided with 2 doors. On the back of these doors contain the smaller tools. Things like small screw drivers, rulers, odd bits, many things. I made a rack using a 2x3 with 1/4" holes drilled into it, for center punches, nail sets, and things like that. Magnet strips hold onto feeler's gauges, allen wrenches, screw gauges, center gauges, so many things. I hollowed out a 2x4 and made a pocket for steel rules.

I removed an old cabinet and replaced it with this wooden one. It houses so many things. The Dremel supplies are here, more boxes that contain, electrical supplies, electric switch box, plumbing box, plumbing part box, screw boxes. Everything has a place.

My cordless tools are here, drills, etc. On top of the unit can hold wood.
