Just in case you don't know yet, The Princess Bride is absolutely my favorite movie. And no, I am not crazy, there is a strong following of Princess Bride fans throughout this world. This page is devoted to that spectacular achievement of cinematic artistry. I also highly recommend reading the book on which the movie was based. It is very funny, and doesn't spoil subsequent viewings of the movie at all.

Script to the Movie

THIS PAGE is the script to The Princess Bride. I did not type it out myself, but two other very generous guys (not acquainted with me) typed it and converted it to HTML. I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate, but it's complete with stage directions and everything, which is pretty cool. If you're one of those people who knows the whole movie by heart, you can double-check this script's accuracy. |
