"Seeing With Better Eyes"

Where this garden grows,
Once grew a patch of weeds.
Choking and destroying,
The life from tiny seeds.

Then one unexpected day,
A friend strong and wise,
Looked at the weeds,
But saw with better eyes.

With gentle hands,
And a careful touch,
He removed the weeds,
Slowly, never too much.

As each day went by,
The garden grew,
Roses appeared,
Somehow he knew.

Now the garden grows stronger,
From his gentle care,
Blooming forever,
With beauty to share.
