It is hard to imagine a more picturesque place from any major city in the world. This is within the area I wrote about on the previous page. From this vantage point one looks down on the city below as the Sacre Couer looms above and behind. It certainly is one of the more charming places to lose yourself in the surroundings, even for Paris.
There are many famous quotes regarding the Eiffel Tower's appearance during the daylight hours. Its brownish coloration is certainly not pretty at these times. But when it is lit up in the evening: The sight can take your breath away.
