The Entry Arch at Notre Dame

Entry Arch at Notre Dame Cathedral

This is the arch above the entrance to Notre Dame Cathedral.  All of the saints depicted and chiseled into the stone have a different appearance.  Such a marvelous sight to behold!  I wish that this picture was better, but it was very hard to make everything appear within the viewfinder of the camera I had at the time.
Remember the French people gave us the Statue of Liberty and it is an interesting fact that the English word:  "dictionary" has its roots in the French language.  They are a friendly people that love to share their treasures with the rest of the world.
