My name is Big Bird, BB for short and I was hatched in Orlando, FL. where my mom found me in the paper while visiting DisneyWorld. I was the last chick but, the best and thank goodness I was a boy because that is what mom and dad had their hearts set on. You see, they have two girls and dad always wanted a son :-) That's me on the basket handle.

I truly love it here but may be getting some brothers soon. Mom and Dad bought a big cage last weekend at the bird mart in case they meet just-the-right birdies.

Pippin and Junior were here for a short while and that's how come we know we can squeeze in two more to take their place. They were so much fun and I miss them.

My Mom thinks parrotlets are natural prozac and she took this picture.

Here's my Mom and Dad with Walli and Keety. Walli and Keety are at the Rainbow Bridge now. We have a nickname for my Dad. We call him "NormLurker" cause my Mom is on some parrotlet mailing lists and my Dad likes to look over her shoulder and read.

Here's one of my family on the 4th of July. Don't they look great? Left to right is Kris, Laura, my Mom Gae and my Dad NormLurker. Our car, the Mustang, was in the parade and won a prize!
