Airedales Hoagy and Athena

This picture was taken in 2002 when 'Thena was about six months old and Hoagy was about two years. A couple of months later, Thena's owner was transferred out of town and gave her to Thom.

Hoagy had never been clipped and Thena had been clipped only once. This is the cover art for Thom's new CD which is available from CDBaby.

Hoagy is named after songwriter Hoagy Carmichael and Thena is named for the Deity who blessed Athens, Greece, with dominance over the Meditteranean world and blessed all of us with most of our humanitarian values -- she was primarily a nurturing artist who only relied on her warrior qualities when compelled to do so to protect her earthly children.
