The specific purpose for which Pegasus Farms!! is being formed is to develop a program that will provide horseback riding at a minimal cost and eventually at no charge for:
- Therapeutic reasons to those persons who by their doctor´s decree will benefit either emotionally or physically from the program
- Other not-for-profit organizations on either an educational or a therapeutic basis
- Covering any and all expenses incurred by this corporation while providing its intended services
- Providing an atmosphere that will attract and encourage an educational theme revolving around the human-animal bond and its place in the field of therapy.
Pegasus Farms!! will accomplish its Mission by:
- Providing class-like demonstrations and / or seminars to both professional and non-professional persons interested in animals as a form of therapy.
- Providing for scholarships and other educational assistance (as funds become available) for those persons interested in promoting human-animal interactions as an alternative form of physical and emotional therapy
- Opening up its facilities for comparative research on the subject of human-animal interaction as a form of therapy
While striving to fulfill the ideals of a professional program, Pegasus Farms!! will make every effort to maintain the feel of a low-key, family-oriented stable.
