Our checklist for the very beginning stages of building our stable:
- Research Project's Name, Logo, etc..
- Form a 501(c)(3)
- Locate Appropriate, Affordable Source of Insurance
- Find a suitable piece of property
- Design program layout for approximately 6-10 acres of land
- Roadway allowance around & through the property
- Safe, Secure Working Ring with Ramp on Perimeter
- Barn with Feed & Tack Storage Rooms
- Multiple Turnouts with Shade
- Dressage-Sized Ring
- Lunge Ring
- Put together a proposal to show to prospective sponsors
- Develop a list of prospective sponsors
- Create Operating Lists at One Year Intervals
- First list is Startup Costs
- 2nd list is each year thereafter
- Develop an interactive website
