Features

Featured Website: DWorkz

DWorkz: a beautiful site that specializes in "digital studio pioneering" with creative ideas and always upcoming technology. The flash for the site, the color scheme and fonts are amazing. Truly an epitome of creative and design talent and skill. I could only dream to eventually be as good as they are. Their offices are in San Francisco and New York.

Sites

Created and somewhat maintained by my friend whom I like to call Vicious. Esem is her site that houses various artwork, music tastes, writing, and even the occassional update. This a site worthy of visiting not only for her amazing drawings but also for her caustic wit ;)

PBW, the author of a great writing blog and of a number of books in numerous genres, Lynn Viehl gives readers a heads up on everything in the biz: finance, publicizing, and the struggles of being a writer. She also holds giveaways of her own books and of other authors she enjoys.

Author of the best-selling Dirk and Steele Series, MML is a fantastic writer with tips and announcements of her books. Check out her site and blog for excerpts, upcoming info on her series, and writing contests and tribulations.

2007 debuting author of the two-part book of the Fading Lands (Tairen Soul: Lord of the Fading Lands and Tairen Soul: Lady and Light of Shadows), CL Wilson has come into the spotlight of the romance world.

Sarah: This book, it is LONG - and therefore, as you’ve said on your site, split into two. Are there outtakes? How much was cut? Will you share?

C.L. Wilson: Wayyyy long. I wrote it as an unpublished writer. And with no deadline, I could have fun wandering, so I did. I’m not a fast writer, so I cannot bear to throw away even cut scenes that I may have spent hours on. I keep all deleted scenes in the hope that someday I may find a use for them. I also cut the original book in two earlier on, and some 300 of those pages are being adapted for inclusion in books 3 and 4.

Starred as the first "featured author" on the site in December 2006. Author of A Hunger Like No Other and upcoming No Rest for the Wicked, was a delightful surprise to discover. Paranormal romance that's just fun to read--nothing super complicated and a definite entertainment. Her next upcoming novel hits shelves October 30, 2007 (Wicked Deeds on a Wicked Night).

AKA: SEP has dominated the romance genre for years. With books like Match Me If You Can and the rest of her Chicago Stars series, SEP has won readers over everywhere.
