1st sHOw survey
puts videos &
slide shows at
top of activies

sHOw members completed a
survey with their application for
membership in 1995. Watching
videos and slideshows were voted
the top choices of inactivity.
Workshops came in second.
History reports on the L & N
operations was third.
Railfanning or taking photos of
real trains was fourth. Making
modular railroads and running
model railroad trains was way
down the list. The L & N Depot
was the first choice for a sHOw
EXPO location. The Iron Horse
Festival at New Haven was
second. The Great American
Train Show at Nashville was
third and somewhere in the
Glasgow area was fourth.
Saturday at 10:00 A.M. was the
most popular day and time for
our regular monthly business
meeting/workshop/train run and
Thursday night at 7:00 P.M. was
chosen for home layout visits,
presentations and social events,
Thanks to all who participated in
the survey.


T-shirts

T-shirts printed with our
club herald may be ordered
until March 4th, 1995. Cost
is $10.00 per shirt. A gray
color with blue lettering was
chosen at a meeting last
summer.

The next meeting of the sHOw
MODULAR MODEL RAILROAD
CLUB will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday
February 4th 1995, at the Hobby
Crossing on Campbell Lane. We
need to vote on a constitutional
amendment to our articles of
incorporation to determine which
non profit organization would
receive our club assets should we
ever dissolve the club. We have a
temporary space loaned by Rumsie
Butler to set up our module railroad
and fine tune the modules. Bring
your module as soon as possible to
606 College. Contact Butler Motors
on College Street to get in. We will
work and run trains at 606 College
after the short business meeting.
Notify Mikd Dowell which evening
you would like for all of us ot get
together to work. Bring Your
applications for membership and
renewal memberships if you have
not already done so. Dues are due.
$15.00 per year! Bring cash or check.
