BIOGRAPHY:
DAVID BOYD

David Boyd is
on the board of
directors of The
sHOw Modular
Model Railroad
Club. David first
became interested
in model railroad-
ing when he was
10 years old. 30
years ago his
father introduced
himto the hobby.
He has main-
tained this inter-
est working with
others to promote
the experience. He
keeps aware of
new products.
David's favorite
rails include the
B&O, L&N and
the Southern. He has a home layout
which is a free-
lance bridge line
east & west
through central
and western

Kentucky. David
would like for our
club to start some
operations that
are a part or rail-
roading in addi-
tion to our model
train EXPO loops.
He is a native of
Dayton, Ohio and
presently lives in
Rockfield with his
wife and two chil-
ren. David works
for the Warren
County Board of
Education as a
bus driver and is
a Southern
Baptist Preacher.
He is also a mem-
ber of the St.
Bernard Club of
America/ AKC St.
Bernards. He is
working on a rail-
yard module.
David has been a
positive force in
our club and the
prime mover of
our corner mod-
ules. Many thanks

Model Train EXPO!!!

The sHOw Model
Train EXPO travels
to Park City,
Kentucky for the
Labor Day Weekend
Festivities. Trains
will run from 10:00
A.M. till 5:00 P.M. on
Saturday only. We
have received a ton
of good publicity---
wonder why---so the
audience is expecting
the best. Be there
with modules and act
as a host when you
can.
Next Model
Train Expo
Sept.9th

On Saturday
September 9th The
sHOw will be fea-
tured at the Rolling
Fork Train Festival
in New Haven
Kentucky. We have
manu fans in the
area after the EXPO
last year in New
Haven and the one
this spring in
Bardstown. Check
with John Welther if
you are going to be
in the New Haven
EXPO.

Club members helped
touch up the Bowling
Green Depot which
appears in this film.
