Auburn
EXPO

The Model Train EXPO at
Auburn, Kentucky on
September 19th and 20th
was extended through
September 25th and over
700 persons viewed the
display at the Auburn
Museum. Thanks to Mr. and
Mrs. Vernon Hadden,
Bruce Baggett, Ross
Jordan, and Lynn
Thompson for the fine
work and hospitality. We
are glad that Boyd Jordan
was able to see the layout
last week. The Museum
donated $50.00 to the club
and we appreciate their
generosity in supporting
our activities. We have a
definite invitation to
return next year to the
Auburn Museum.

WORK
ON
BRIMS
LAYOUT
BEGINS

Work begins this month on
the loft layout at the
BRIMS Museum on Center
Street. A work schedule
will be developed at the
next business meeting. We
will need your help to
complete this by the
Christmas season. Each
member will donate a
building so have some-
thing in mind. A plan
drawing for the layout will
be distributed at the next
meeting.

Minutes
The business meeting met
September 6th at 10:18 at the
Kentucky Museum, president
Paul Jones presiding. Paul
Schnoes and Sonny Spillman
will be asked to add their mod-
ules to the Auburn EXPO to
replace those of Rumsie Butler.
The EXPO times Friday 9-2 and
Saturday 9-5 were set. Oakes
will contact BRIMS Museum to
see when we can begin con-
struction of their layout. The
new mail address of the sHOw
MODULAR MODEL RAIL-
ROAD CLUB is c/o John Oakes

42101. David Boyd was elected
treasurer to fill the term of
Rumsie Butler. The Treasury has
$484.33 plus $20.00 from the
caboose contributions. Bruce
