The sHOw is 4 Years Old! The sHOw Modular Model Railroad Club celebrates its fourth birthday this month. The first meeting was at the Hobby Crossing in Bowling Green after advance notice was printed in Model Railroader magazine. By the January meeting, a model of the L & N passenger station had been completed and most of the standards were in place. By April 1994, we had our first Model Train EXPO at Fairview Plaza Shopping Center. We now have three times the number of members. |
Work On BRIMS Layout Moves Forward Work began last month on the loft layout at the BRIMS Museum on Center Street. The plywood top is completed. Work sessions will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Other times will be announced. David Boyd has the BRIMS key. We will need your help to complete this project by the Christmas season. Each member will donate a building and these should be delivered to the museum as soon as possible. |
Minutes The business meeting met October 4th at 10:18 at the Kentucky Museum, secretary John Oakes presiding. Plan for the BRIMS layout were distributed and the club voted to meet at Shoney's Restaurant on Thompson Lane in Nashville, Tennessee on November 1st at 8:00 a.m. After a breakfast meeting we will attend the NMRA Cumberland Division SER Meet and Model Train Show- Exhibitors Bldg., Tenn State Fairgrounds, Wedgewood and Rains Ave. 9-4. $3 under 12 $1.
