BRIMS LAYOUT OPENS FEB. 7th The Barren River Imaginative Musem of the Sciences permanent layout will open February 7th, 1998 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It features compressed scenes of the Bowling Green area and locomotive and caboose decorated in the BRIMS logo. The train will operate by push button so that when the button is released, the train will stop. Many hours went into the completion of the scenery and over 100 buildings fill the 13 x 30 foot layout. We still need trucks and automobiles in 1/87 scale. A photo of sHOw members will be made on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for inclusion in an article for Model Railroader Magazine. Pleas be there. Our regular monthly meeting will follow the fun of the opening. Thanks to all who contributed time, materials and money to this project. It will provide delight to many persons in the future.
