Eulogy for a Veteran
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the Gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

Another terrific link is The "4th of July" which has patriotic and historical links such as the Betsy Ross House; Happy Birthday, America!; How to Cook a Hotdog and many more!
Many things are "dedicated to" or "in honor of" the Soldiers who are in our Armed Forces but they have to have a support system too.....and often times it is their families. I would like to share "The Military Wife" with you although the author is unknown. I do realize that we have many women in our Armed Forces today and it's their husbands who support them through the hard times.
