History of
The POW/MIA Flag
Unfinished Business
We've all heard stories about POW/MIA's but have you ever stopped to make it personal? To make it more than just a statistic?
Take a moment to put yourself in any POW/MIA's boots. How would you feel if you thought your country gave up on you after you had given your services for your country? What would you think if you felt forgotten and abandoned..... waiting by the minutes, the hours, the days.....and now years for your country to rescue you? To bring you home? To reunite you with your family and friends?
How would you feel if you were the wife, mother, father, sister, brother, child, other family member or close friend of a Soldier who left but never returned.....not knowing what ever happened to him? Wondering if he was tormented and tortured, possibly killed, possibly still alive.....never knowing for sure.
And even if you did know, as with my adopted POW/MIA, Joseph George Kusick, his remains still need to be brought home to America. His family and friends need to say their final goodbyes and to help finish their grieving process; to help close that chapter in their lives, (but certainly NOT the memories!) and to finish our countries unfinished business. Dead or Alive.....we need to Bring Our Brothers Home!
It's past time for each and every one of us to make our voices heard. Won't you please take a few minutes of your time to write your government officials.....and may 1998 be the year to.....
BRING OUR BROTHRS HOME!
