IAR IS28-B2
One of the most successful gliders ever built, the Romanian IAR IS-28B2 glider was, in its time, one of the best gliders in the world and an amazingly versatile and capable aircraft.

Designed and produced entirely and exclusively in Romania, the IS-28B2 was exported all over the world, and 30 years after its hay-days, it is still the backbone of many airclubs around the globe.

Romania, Hungary, United States, Australia, Japan, Germany, Israel and many, many other countries still use it today, as the good-old aircraft endures the passing of time and continues to thrill its pilots in acrobatical manoeuvres or in long-distance flights.
