Strike Photos From The 394th Bomb Group

These Photos show the second mission of August 9, 1944. The target was a railroad bridge over the Oise River in L'Ise Adam, France. This bridge was of inestimable value to the enemy in moving troops, supplies, and equipment to Paris
Two Marauder crews were brought down by intense flak during this mission. They were the crew of 2/Lt. Charles Kee (a MMM member) and that of Captain Darrell R. Lindsey, who received America's highest military award, the Congressional Medal of Honor.
