Concerned that the poodle king was not making enough
friends, his regents prevailed upon his fuzziness to
attend doggie day care and hopefully meet some nice
puppies. Although he showed some interest, Peppa is a
shy king, and he wasn't able to make any friends. The
woman at day care said that the poodle king had no
social skills! Imagine!

After another try at
doggie day care with the same results, the regents
decided that King Peppa needed to have an activity. He
started
agility lessons that day; at last an activity
worthy of the king of poodles!

King Peppa met his
first real friend,
Chloe the wheaten terrier.
The regents decided that since the poodle king is shy,
it might be better to try to introduce him to one new
dog at a time. He and Chloe began having play dates, and
Peppa gradually warmed up to her and the two became
great friends! Yay!

Since the weather was getting
hot and King Peppa was spending more time outside, he began
taking medicine to ward off the evil flea and tick armies that
have been seen lurking outside the castle. So far he has yet to
succumb to a single attack!

Recently King Peppa has added a
new title to his long list: "matmaker." No matter how often his
regent combed and brushed him, his long fur always developed
mats. Finally, it was time for another visit to the royal
barber, and for the poodle king's first close haircut. He also
had the fur on his ears trimmed to be more fashionable. However,
there was an unexpected result: everyone who meets King Peppa
thinks he's a girl! Oh, the shame!
