Midnight Club
In the Beginning
History
The midnight club began as a group of students who met (you guessed it, at midnight!) to read poetry and discourse on the meaning of life. We were sure, naturally, that we knew all the answers, if someone would only ask us.
It evolved into a group of students who met to read poetry they had written themselves, eventually including other writings (my question--what happened to the Writer's Circle?). A few of them discovered the "art" of two word poems.

Two Word Poetry
One person gives another two words from which to construct a poem. This should only take a few minutes, and so makes for some interesting poetry! Sometimes we would try to stump each other with difficult words, other times we simply couldn't think of any words--so we used things we saw around us.

A Two Word Poem
The studs
On the back
Of the buttons
Of my jacket
Covering my shirt
Over my bra
Near my erogenous zones
On my body
Containing my mind
Unlocking my soul
That you touched.
