The following are ideas of things to do, the list is by no means complete, please email me with more suggestions....I'm always looking for something new to do! They are a great starting point whether or a date or a group! Some cost a bit, and others are practically free! |

Each house makes enough of something alcoholic to drink for everyone to have one drink, the group moves from room to room. Progressive picnic See above, only go someplace to eat each course. Great in spring or fall (in Texas, anyway), we used to have progressive parties in college--this was when everyone worked at different fast food joints, those not working took the party to them! Radio show Make your own radio show, learn more about everyone. Make fake interview shows, spoof Jerry Springer, etc. for ideas see questions, or check out This American Life. My sister and I had lots of fun and laughs making a "Fresh Air" take off while on a long road trip. The tapes are priceless, and the giggles were non-stop! Read books aloud Short, funny children's books are great for this (try Shel Silverstein poetry), or share your favorite parts of your favorite books Rent a moped and check out local scenery Rock climb Roller blade Roller skate Scavenge picnic Go to all your friends houses and "borrow" a bit for your meal Scavenger hunt Scrounging - shopping thrift stores/garage sales Try a game variation, each person or group is given a budget, (for example $10) and a time limit. Everyone meets back and votes on who got the best deal, the weirdest thing, whatever! Skiing Take a class Theater Try a new park and take the dog for a walk Try a new sport Volleyball party Volunteer work (churches usually have things going on) Walking by a lake or river Because really, what's more fun than soap and water?
