Yes, I've decided to go out and make my own year in review.  The highlights and lowlights of the year.  None of this is in any particular order so just sit back and enjoy.

TOP 11 ALBUMS I BOUGHT THIS YEAR--Thanks to Peer to Peer sharing, there is really no point in purchasing compact discs.  I actually only bought 11 brand new albums in all of 2002.  Here they are in alphabetical order by artist

TOP 10 6 MOVIES I SAW IN A THEATRE--Thanks to my busy work schedule, I only had time to see SIX movies in a theatre.  They are all equally great so these are also in alphabetical order.

• I got my laptop

• I'm still alive

• Everything during and after the White Stripes concert (lucky and lit in a nutshell)

BAD/SAD THINGS THAT HAPPENED THIS YEAR

• Grandma Leffler, Jam Master Jay, and Joe Strummer all died

• Comedy Central cancelled the Kids in the Hall

• Mars Music closed

• I'm still in school

• I'm still single

• I still have no self confidence

• Riverport Amphiteatre changed it's name to the bank that I hate

• I've been without a bedroom since August and it's still not done

• I got fucked out of my first substantial vacation in SIX YEARS because of the bedroom

• The Republicans now rule the country

• Reality TV

• MTV X became MTV Jams yet they still have MTV Espanol on the air in a market that's only 3% Hispanic

This is about all I can think of for now.  This is all that really needs to be said about 2002.  What about 2003.  I only have 2 "resolutions" that probably won't happen--Lose 100 pounds (doctor mandated) and FIND A NEW JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
