Ghost photographs from around the United Kingdom

Lord In A Tree
Temple Newsome, Yorkshire

Rumour has it that the ghostly image of the man inside the tree is that of Sir William Harvey who owned Temple Newsome during the 1600's and committed suicide by hanging himself from the tree pictured.

Other locals claim that it's Sir Walter Raleigh who visited Temple Newsome when the nobles who lived there wanted to meet him after he became well known throughout Britain.

The Monk Ghost
Eastry Church, Kent

The considerable number of documented sightings by respectable and reliable witnesses makes it difficult for even the staunchest skeptic to deny the existence of ghosts.

For example when bank manager Mr Bootman took this photograph of Eastry Church, Kent in 1956, it was empty.
