Surveys at our School: Personality and Physical Traits
Project update from students in Class 11a
at Rinuzhi School in Riga, Latvia
Note from the Connecting Math to Our Lives Coordinators: The students have sent a graphics file with three colorful graphs to show their data. We will try to find a way to translate the labels and then will post the graphs on our math web page.
We are the students of class 11a, and we're connecting with the project "Mathematics and Life". We have chosen the topic "Statistics and Society". Mathematics will help us to understand ourselves. It has two directions:

1) Investigation of personality;
2) Investigations of optical eye sight's defects among the students of our school.

18 pupils of our class take part in the first investigation. We've made a form, which has all qualities of personality. We send you a sample. The statistic analysis is produced in diagrams. Everyone can see himself /herself from the side of classmates. Everyone start to think on the question how to change oneself.

115 pupils in the age of 7 to 18 take part in the second investigation. We send you the results of our work. May be they'll interest you and will be useful.
