The most important shoe trends this spring are peep-toe, and natural materials (such as cork, wood or raffia). For good measure, throw in wedge or stacked heels, anything metallic, or fun ballet flats. Color choices are very extensive, feel free to be as bold as you like! Patent leather seems to be everywhere. The ones pictured here were bought at Nordstroms in La Jolla.
Sure, platform-y shoes are still in, but thanks to some really nice people, stylish pumps are getting back in fashion. The D'Orsay cut means we have to learn to walk properly in high heels.
The ballet flats are showing up a lot, but personally unless you are very tall I don't really think most women can pull the look off. Even then to me they look more like house slippers, and I wouldn't leave my house wearing them.
So to sum things up we can look for:
You can find your trendy shoes at several different places. Kohls has a good selection. Fashion 5 has a big selection as well, and don't forget Blue Echo. The new Shoe Pavilion has alot to choose from and the Nordstrom's Rack has a huge assortment of shoes. I have my eye on a few pairs at Nordstroms in North County Fair, and I don't want to forget Charlotte Russe. I have found a few really cute shoes there. Macy's has a lot of cute shoes, but for some reason I never find what I want in my size. The shoes pictured were puchased at Macy's in La Jolla.
