I would like to thank those members of the balloonism community who provided ideas, suggestions, criticism and encouragement during the development of these pages. That said, any biases or misrepresentations present in this work are entirely my responsibility.
If you would like to discuss this topic, you can contact the author of this document either by sending email to pmcoz@email.com, or by joining the IRC undernet channel #balloons and looking for Phobic. Many other members of the group would also be willing to discuss their balloonism; the web pages listed below provide some email addresses.
There is an email group (the balloon buddies) for people with balloonism. If you would like to request membership, send an email to buster@balloonbuddies.com.
The most exhaustive lists of links to material on the internet of interest to those with balloonism can be found at http://www.balloonhost.com/chipple/ and http://www.mellyloon.com/links. This includes commercial and non-commercial web sites that cater specifically to balloonism, sites on the topic of balloons generally, sites containing other balloon-related media, and web pages of many individuals with balloonism. When exploring these links, it is important to bear in mind that no one member will be interested in all of the material available (see What It Involves for a discussion of the diversity of interests of those with balloonism).
