  • Manufacturing Engineering support for the following Seismic Cables, Repairs & Services:

    Air Gun Cables (DAG-C, DAG-B/ VNF, A-DAG)
Lead-in Cables (Q and MSX LOL, COL, HSEJ-C steel lead-in)
Monowing Adapter Cable (Q, MSX & Nessie)

  • Increased revenue from $2M to $18M within 1 year

  • Six Sigma Project Owner; saved $100k in 2005. Training for Black Belt, completing August 2006

  • Advise engineering on the manufacturability of new product designs- review designs, approve documentation, and audit.

  • Design for Manufacturability & Assembly: Design products right the first time for the easiest production, fastest assembly, best quality, highest reliability, and the shortest time to market.

  • Lean Manufacturing: Develop, build, and deliver products at half the total cost using DFM to cut parts and labor cost and systematically reducing all overhead and distribution costs. 5% cycle time reduction after implementing Lean Manufacturing, savings passed on to Clients

  • Liaison between the oil-field and Technology Center - RAN & Intouch Expert

  • Providing technical support/ dispositions to vendors on DMR's and NCR’s. Improve QPM for better quality and on-time delivery. Visit machine shops to review their quality procedures and corrective actions.

  • Standardization: Use standardization to increase purchasing leverage, simplify supply chain management, reduce part and overhead cost, and enhance flexibility.

  • Assist and supervise all aspects of procurement and production planning. This includes but is not limited to Supply Chain Management, Supplier Negotiations, Purchasing, Supplier Qualification, Logistics, Production Planning, Scheduling & Routing, Pricing, & Customer Service.

  • Implement statistical process control.

  • Introduce, develop, and sustain Kanban system for inventory management.

  • Co-ordinate & implement 5S & Kaizen.

  • Improve and standardize processes (both Sugar Land, TX and Abbeville, France, Norway, Singapore), document ISO procedures, and perform Quality Audits.

  • On-site expert for critical equipment; productivity/ efficiency improvement. Select new machinery and equipment.

  • Automation, upgrade and control of equipment.

  • Design and install simulation software for improving capacity utilization.

  • Devise ideas for exempt and non-exempt work force motivation and team building; track performance improvements.

  • Organize Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) improvements. LPT (Loss Prevention Team) Leader in 2004-2005
