Chapter 4: The Foolio Dance!

Beth Martinez yawned as she stood up. She was tired, and had gone on to check her mail and to see if Josh was on. Now she was going to be meeting him. She felt a little bit scared, after all, you hear all kinds of stories of wackos on the internet, what if he was one of them? Or even worse, what if he was different than who he seemed on the internet?

"Tired after talking to your internet lover?" Her cousin and roommate, Celeste, teased.

"Oh shut up." Beth mumbled, falling onto her bed. "Oh, we're going to meet him and a couple of friends at Magic Mountain on Saturday, if that's okay?"

"Yeah, that's great." Celeste said, smiling, "After all, we never see you dating, Beth." She joked cautiously. Everyone knew about Beth's past relationship, how she had been so much in love with her boyfriend, only to catch him sleeping with someone. Paris had noticed how her cousin had changed since.

"Yeah, whatever." Beth said, smiling even though Celeste was teasing her. "We can bring Karrie, Marie, Tiana and Ari?" Celeste asked, talking about their other cousin and three best friends.

"Sure." Beth said, "But shoo now, I need my sleep."

"Yeah, sweet dreams!" Celeste called, shutting the door.

"Guys, cool down!" Joey hissed, while Lance and JC rolled their eyes at Chris and Justin's antics. With the tour over, the group had time to do whatever they wanted, which was a first for them in a long time. All five of them wore hats and sunglasses, hoping that no one would recognize them. As a result to suddenly having so much free time, Justin and Chris were extremely hyper.

"Let's go on that water ride first!" Justin pleaded.

"No! Superman!" Joey insisted.

"Not Superman," JC interrupted, "We have to be by the Superman Ride at three, so we might as well wait until then to ride it."

"Oh yeah, I forgot, we're meeting your internet girlfriend there," Joey muttered, "Ow!" He yelled when JC punched him in the shoulder. "What'd I say!"

They decided to ride the water ride first, much to Justin's delight. "Man, I don’t like this ride," Lance repeated several times, surveying the waves as they got into the boat. Sure enough, they hit one of the waves hard enough that they all got splashed.

"Ugh," Lance said in disgust, looking at his wet clothes after they got off of the ride.

Justin and Chris both laughed at him, "You gotta live a little, Poo Foo," Chris commented, running away quickly before Lance could hit him.

"Excuse me, sir, but aren't you JC from N Sync?" He heard a tiny voice ask behind him. He stopped laughing and turned around. "May I have your autograph?" She asked in a small voice, her brown eyes wide with awe. She couldn’t have looked more than fifteen years old. This was what he hated. He couldn't be just a regular guy any day, someone always recognized him, always followed, treated him like he was a God when all he wanted to be was a mortal.

"No." He said shortly, turning away. Someone grabbed his arm and whirled him back around.

"Hey, bastard," Said another girl, who looked like she was in her early twenties. She was Asian, like the younger girl, but her eyes were flashing with anger. "That was pretty rude there, all she asked for was a fucking autograph!" She looked at the rest of the guys, who were quiet and shocked from being talked to in such a language.

"I don't care who the hell you think you all are," She exclaimed, her eyes staring daggers at JC, "but just because you're all famous and everything doesn't give you the right to be so rude to people. Come on, Karrie, let's go find Celeste." She said softly to the now crying girl, and they walked away.

"Wow." Was all JC could say when they had gone.

"She was right, though, JC," Justin reminded him. JC nodded reluctantly.

"I know, I was a jerk to that girl," He admitted, "I just hated our privacy being imposed on, again." The rest of the guys nodded, knowing all too well what it was like to have your entire life in the public eye.

"Is Lover boy going to be here soon?" Beth's friend, Marie, teased. They all sat near the Superman ride, but not too close because the sound of the ride was extremely loud.

"Shut up." Beth said, rolling her eyes then looked accusingly at Celeste and Karrie.

"What!" They both asked, innocently.

"He's supposed to be here at three. And he's not my Lover boy," Beth said, correcting Marie. Marie shrugged as if to say 'whatever' and opened the soda that Tiana handed her. Beth checked her watch. It was almost time.

"Is he bringing any of his friends?" Ariel asked.

"Yeah, I think so."

"Yeah!" Ariel said, "we're gonna meet some guys. Let's do the Foolio Dance!" Everyone laughed. The 'dance' was performed when someone was either sad, or everyone was happy, and consisted of a combination between the chicken dance, the macarena, and the running man.

"Guys, you're embarrassing us!" Karrie groaned, covering her eyes as Tiana and Ariel began to dance. They had pulled Beth up from her sitting position, urging her to dance. She laughingly obliged. Celeste just watched with an amused expression on her face.

"C'mon, it's fun!" Tiana insisted.

"Hey look at those girls over there," Chris pointed at a group of girls dancing very strangely. Justin looked over and started to laugh.

"You think they're really dancing, or are they just being silly?" Joey asked, an amused grin on his face.

"Hey, isn't that the girl who told JC off earlier?" Lance squinted at the group of girls.

"Hey! Yeah it is!" Justin confirmed. JC groaned, covering his face with his hands.

"Let's go over there!" Chris suggested.

"But what about Beth?" JC asked. "She's supposed to be around here somewhere."

"We'll find her. They're not that far from the ride either." JC shook his head furiously, but had to follow them when the rest of the guys left towards the girls.
