The
This has been a learning experience for the old man and I, as neither of us have ever attempted any mechanical work this extensive.

Current list of upgrades/maintanence we have completed so far:
Transmission removed.  (Note M46 sitting next to car!)

New rear main seal, pilot bearing, F&S clutch/pressure plate, throw out bearing installed

Install used M46 transmission/OD unit. (No core, yay!)
Fill with Redline MT fluid.

R&R front struts/rear shocks,  replace with Bilsteins

Replace tie rod ends & tie rods

Clean/repack front wheel bearings

Replace brake master cylinder, Rebuild front calipers, Install new ATE front rotors.
Flush system with ATE Super Blue fluid. (Great stuff!)
R&R control arms; Install new front control arm bushings

Catalytic converter 'replaced'. Car sounds and feels like there's a turbo now!

Diagnosed and repaired cruise control

Alignment

ipd floor mats and rear cargo mat

Custom sheepskins for front seats--$5 at rummage sale!

Sony cassette deck with 10-disc changer and Infinity speakers (
not $5 at Rummage sale! but at least the deck was free--came out of the Porsche)

Complete rear suspension rebuild:
New
ipd urethane rear suspension bushing kit installed in trailing arms, track/Panhard rods.
Requires special tool and lots of swearing!

The trailing arm bushings in particular are a must-do
. They were nearly metal on metal in this 150k car!
