They are five, but one could be forgiven for thinking that they comprise enough physical mass to create about 17... Still, there you go. Here's a little info on them, a who does what of
wooliness:

Formed around the turn of the century, they generally met each other by speaking their native tongue, or at ritual hunter/gatherer tribal meetings, though some of them know each
other since their young educational era, an epoch not yet complete for some 3/5ths of them. Wasters.
Upon leaving the early name of 'Sheep' behind them, they began designing their own line of clothing, named
after the new (ewe) and improved (debateable...)band name, 'Pure Nu Wool'. This is a new and exciting product range of winter wear, and clothing for those 'to whom nature has been too generous'.
Then the
musical interest came to the fore as it generated a platform from which the clothing could be marketed to a young and impressionable audience. Having recently sold off the clothing franchise in a hostile take over by
Richard Branson, the band opted for some equipment purchases. This did not include the purchase of 'The Spirit of St. Louis' nor did it include the purchase of Shania Twain's sock collection, as was reported
recently.
And now the people, well, Tex is a thesbian. He has been developing quite a little talent for himself in the acting forum in recent times, and has recovered well from a nasty illness. He joined the band
after the former bass player, Chris, fell heavily pregnant. Chris, now some 6 or so years later, is *still* pregnant, and is under observation and finger- pointing scrutiny at the National Hospital for Pregnant Men. He
has since become an international icon of severe weirdness, but remains, a sound bloke.Tex has rapidly become quite an adept bass man, and plays his own style of picked bass, very nicely. 'His new Jackson bass and
effects system will only lend him a more Demonic edge' said Melody Maker recently. They were right. Tex plays as stated, a Jackson bass, through a DOD effects unit and a Laney combo.
Dave then, is Tex's older sibling, and is more reserved than his little brother in many ways, but Dave knows how to ROCK OUT. When he has hair, he lets it down. When he's wearing his polo necks, he turns up his
collar, and welcomes the unknown. (to quote Dave Mustaine...) Dave has had as many guitars in the past as he's had women. (ha ha..) but no, seriously, he draws influences from a wide selection of artists and styles,
surely not a bad thing. He likes attaching himself to large machinery for kicks and will make it big in the parasite industry some day. Dave plays an Aria Pro electric as well as a Les Paul
copy .
John M (Sporty). Lives close to dynamic duo above. He is the drum person, and organiser of meetings. Known to play as much guitar as drums, he is also a scholar of the physical
science, and with Dike currently, writes quite a bit of the music. John is also an Angelic Angler. John plays a Sonor Force 3000 birch kit, with Zildjian and Paiste cymbals. Splashes are Sabians. He plays a Jackson Performer electric through a Zoom effects unit. Programming is done using Rebirth and Cool-Edit 2000.
John B (Scarey) Basset is now a resident in west england, but we forgive him that as his contributions to the Total Band Mass are so significant. He plays guitar, and is partial to Civic arrangements.John has
written a few of the older songs with spirit crushing lyrics, and is due to come up with a good 'un sometime in the near future.He likes to eat. A lot of the time. John uses a Zoom effects unit, a Fender stage combo, and a Strat.
Dike is another Angelic Angler. It is said that when he sings, heaven puts clouds in it's ears, but for those not believing in such fictious
places, Dike is a mighty singer. Hailing from the Northern ramparts of this fine city of ours, he has been known to string a few chords together, and with John M, writes quite a few ditties. His addiction to hair-care
products is being dealt with by trained professionals, he must not be laughed at or ridiculed, except in public. Dike uses his boyfriends.
