A preview will be prepared in the near-ish future but in the mean time you can see what the old MSN-hosted QSoc looked like.
Left is a screen-capture image of the secure part of the 'Quantock School On-line Community' (QSoc) home page.
If you click on the image left you will see that there a various links to other parts of the QSoc web site such as message boards and photo albums.
You can also see that the MSN-hosted web site shows you new members, new messages and new photos as they they happen.
Left are the cover pictures of some of 100 or so photo albums. Some of these albums have only a few precious photos in them, others have hundreds of them. In the screen capture left, I have expanded the teachers album. Obviously, each thumbnail would be a link to a larger photo on QSoc.
All pictures have been scanned and graciously up-loaded from the private collections of QSoc members.
The message boards contains thousands of messages on various topics - some contain messages fit to make you weep with laughter, and others are more factual - but all interesting.
It is fun reading about the shenanigans that occurred in the past, which are reassuringly familiar ... the number of people who nearly killed themselves making stills in the woods, trying to 'walk' around the outside ledge of the 1st floor level of the Main building (around-the-world), or were caught by Mr Phil doing some other acts of no good - the mind boggles!
