About Us

The Establishment of the Rotaract Club of Taipo

Our Club was established in 1996 by the Rotary Club of Taipo. The aim was to encourage young adults to become more involved in helping the people in their community. Moreover, it was important for these young adults to learn about the challenges many face, and to do their part in making the world a better place.

Our Mission

To increase awareness for the need of humanitarian services through the development of friendships. The core goal of the Rotary family is to provide service to those less fortunate than oneself.

Thus, Rotary developed Four Avenues of Service on which club activities are based:

Club Service
  • strengthen fellowship
  • ensure effective functioning of the club
Vocational Service
  • serve others through their vocations
Community Service
  • projects and activities to improve life in ones community
International Service
  • expand Rotary's humanitarian reach
  • promote world understanding and peace

Our Culture

Our club is made up of young adults ranging from college students, to fresh grads to those who have been working for several year! We have regular meetings to catch up with each other and to give updates on upcoming service and fellowship opportunities. These meetings are informal and fun! Serious work done in an informal setting!
