Character Name: Jonathan Calador
Gender: Male
Age: 27?
Birthplace: Andor
Current Whereabouts: On the road, Southern Andor
Position/Profession: Con-Artist
Physical Description: 5'11" with storm grey eyes and light brown, messy hair.
Personality: Easygoing and charming, always ready with a compliment.
Possessions: Cloak, rapier, boots, flute, traveling clothes.
Major Skill: Swordsmanship
Minor Skill: Instrument(Flute)
Extra: Jon was born in Caemlyn, but that hardly means anything to him
anymore, as he has been traveling all across Andor, Cairhien, Illian,
and other lands most of his life. His parents died when he was just a
boy, and he has since had to learn to fend for himself.
He travels constantly, often with no real destination in mind, as
anything from a thief to a con-artist to an amateur gleeman (the last
only when he was certain no _real_ gleeman were in the area). He still
doesn't understand why he uses the unusual sword he habitually carries
(a heronmark rapier), but he feels comfortable with it and can make a
dozen strikes with it before a normal man can make three.
He *ahem* "acquired" the rapier from the home of a wealthy Tairen
merchant, initially intent on selling it. A chance encounter with
bandits on the way to Illian changed that decision as he found the
weapon remarkably easy to use and quite effective.
He avoids channelers whenever possible, again for reasons he
cannot quite fathom. He simply feels extremely uncomfortable when near
anything or anyone (Aes Sedai, Ashaman, or ter'angreal) that channels
the One Power, even if he is unaware of their presence (I have an
explanation for his discomfort, but since he doesn't know why yet, I
felt it best not to divulge that information). For this reason, he has
never been to Tar Valon, despite his wide travels.
