Extra: Born in Cairhien, the city, during the winter of 954 NE. Raised by his parents in their small manor house. Became well known for his skill in The Game of Houses early in life. House Raintal is a minor house in Cairhien but holds strong ties to House Damodred. Served as a Lieutenant of the King's Guard during Laman's rein. When Laman cut down Avendoraldera and started the Aiel War, Serrick led his house armsmen all the way to the walls of Tar Valon. While there he fought alongside many of the Children of the Light. He had developed a distrust of Aes Sedai early in life, and the Children's views were appealing. He joined the Children of the Light in 980 NE. Rose through the ranks of the Children quickly, attained the rank of Lord Captain in 989 NE.
He is currently in Northern Andor commanding a small legion to "determine the current status of the White Tower." He is to learn if the Tower really has been broken, if so he is to send for reinforcements and possibly lay siege to Tar Valon. He recently lost contact with Amador, due to the Seanchan invasion, and has not received orders or reports from the Spymaster in several weeks. He is now faced with a decision of what to do. Should he continue to follow his last orders? Or take his legion south to determine the problem in Amadicia? Move against this "Black Tower"? Decisions which can make or break the career of a Lord Captain. What will he do??? Only time will tell.
