Great Expectations  1997 Pip , a poor , orphan boy , helps an escaped convict to survive and his act of kindness changes his entire life in the most unexpected and unusual way. He is befriended by Miss Havisham, a rich and highly eccentric old lady , who invites him to "play" with her adopted daughter Estella for whom she is preparing a special role in society.
