"Most popular boy in school -- Has dark secret":
Vaughn is frequently confronted trust issues and moral conflicts. He is often pressured into finding out information discussed by the science club by his father, Victor Pearson
He is left handed. Vaughn also suffers from dyslexia. His birthday is June 17.
Vaughn is on the football team, as quarterback, and wrestling team.
He is not assigned a roommate.

In the first season, Vaughn is forced into the Science Club by his father, Victor Pearson, and Principal Durst in an attempt to improve his failing grades. He learns to like Science and evolves because of it. He is used by his father in attempts to spy on the Science Club and has to deal with ways to mend broken trust. He and Josie butt heads quite often but learn to get along and even care about each other.
Vaughn is also slightly bothered by the loss of his mother. This motivates him to go back in time to 1977 to meet her since he has no memories of her from when he was a baby.

Season two Vaughn, we get a better background of Vaughn in school, like seeing what sports that he plays. We continue to see Victor pressuring Vaughn to make him proud. Growing feelings between Vaughn and Josie bring the two to desire more than just friendship. Victor warns Vaughn that Josie is not to be trusted.
After Josie finds out that Victor was the one who stole her floating chi gong ball, she believes that Vaughn also knew about it and said that she would never trust Vaughn again.

Season three, trust between Vaughn and the Science Club is severed completely and Vaughn has to start again to regain the lost trust. In an attempt to allow things to cool off, Vaughn moves back home, with his father, and has to deal with insecurity that others treat him differently because he is Victor's son.
Vaughn ends up rivaling Lucas because both of them have feelings for Josie. Lucas also believes that Vaughn is a bad guy like his father. Eventually, Lucas trusts Vaughn again and they learn to work together. After learning that his mother is still alive (in this season), Vaughn hunts for information that may help him learn more about her. He uncovers old security tapes that reveal Corrine talking to his mother but he is unable to handle the information about what occurred in 1987.
In a second visit to 1987, he and Josie learn that Sarah Lynch knew all long that Vic would steal the floating chi gong ball from Josie and that Josie would be coming from the future.

In the mirror!universe, Vaughn is best described as a geek in every stereotype. He has glasses, always seems to be holding a book, and his body language is of someone who is not confident enough to speak to someone directly.
