"Vaughn's father -- Major league bad guy":
Victor has had a fascination with science from a young age. Victor graduated from Penn State University and is now the wealthy owner of Pearadyne Labs, an institution dedicated to science. An accident occurred 15 years ago causing mysterious happenings around the affected lands and the loss of his wife.
Victor is the head of the board of directors/governors for Blake Holsey High. Victor's mission has been the reopening of Pearadyne Labs.
Characteristics that Victor admires in people are candidness and frankness.
Victor has a fondness for his electric train sets.
He is suspicious of the Science Club and especially Josie. What ever his plans, Josie Trent seems to be a continuous rock in his shoe even working her way into his son's affections.

In the first season, we learn that young Victor Pearson stole a floating chi gong ball from Josie in 1977. The chi gong ball became the power source for Pearadyne Industries until the explosion. Victor makes slow strides to bring Pearadyne back into operation and keeps the floating chi gong ball secret. He is also quite careful to keep a watchful eye on the local school's Science Club. Victor tries to recruit Vaughn into spying on the Science Club for him when Principal Durst cannot get close enough. Victor believes that Josie knows something about his experiments and remains suspicious about the activities of her mother, Kelly Trent.
In season two, Victor becomes more careful because he believes there is someone trying to sabotage his equipment. He continues to watch Josie but grows continuously powerless as his son falls for Josie. Josie finally figures out that Victor stole the chi gong ball from her and she makes a successful attempt to steal it back from him.
Season three picks up directly from where season one left off. Victor is left mentally crippled upon seeing that the floating chi gong ball no longer has the ability to float (because Josie switched it with another chi gong ball). However, not knowing how or why, the floating chi gong ball does make its way back into his possession (Josie2 gives it back to him). Victor becomes increasing shaken by Josie though as she continues to learn too much about Victor, Vaughn, and Victor's wife (Sarah). Mentally eroded by Josie, Victor is forced to make a plea to Josie, warning her that her involvement could not only demolish everything her has worked for but also hurt Vaughn. His plea seems to fall on deaf ears though.

In the mirror!universe, Victor seems to be a stressed-out producer. He is ruthless with who gets into the school and will not hesitate to expel anyone who cannot perform.
