I have been vegetarian all my life...I was brought up by a strong animal rights activist mother.
I personally believe that eating any kind of meat is a horrible thing to do when it comes to
innocent animals

Pasadena:
- Kevan Schanberger, age 19. tiamat@erols.com
I'm not a vegetarian, but I'm seriously cutting down on meat. I tried eliminating meat a couple
of weeks of ago and went fine for 2 1/2 weeks, but failed. I want to become a ovo-lactate
vegetarian where I still would have eggs and dairy just no meat and I think I still would eat
seafood but it is all in moderation. I don't eat pork but that's pretty easy, and because I'm
living w/ my parents, it's not easy for me to do it, but I know that's what best. So if this
organization can help me in my progress, i'll join in the battle for awareness.
Rockville:
- David Lloyd, 16 years old. dlloyd@us.net
I am TRYING to become a vegetarian, and it is not easy living at home, with meat-eating
family members! :( I am trying, tho :)
- Sarah K. E. Wheeler, age 16. twheeler@dgs.dgsys.com
I was born into a family that was experimenting with vegetarianism. When they switched
back, (I was about 5) I ate meat for about a year. Couldn't take it, and I switched back, by
myself, at age 6. I've been vegan since I was 14 (found out I was lactose intolerant, never
ate eggs anyway). so de facto, not based on belief..

- Charisse Clements, age 16. charis3290@aol.com

slaughtering methods and the benefits of being veggie.
