I have been a vegetarian since June '96. I had been considering it for two years before that! I
am really glad to have found this page. I would like to talk to someone who understands. I
only know three other veg*ns. A woman that works with my dad, my older sister (she's
going to college), and my wonderful friend Sarah(but she's been on vacation most of this
summer!). I LOVE animals(esp. cats), which is my main reason for becoming a vegetarian.
My other reason was health. I LOVE nature, I already mentioned animals, I like camping,
hiking, reading, helping animals, etc. I love music. I play the violin. I really love cats-A LOT!
A lot of my friends (except for Sarah) say, "But why are you a vegetarian? Meat is good!",
and I'll say, "You may eat it if you want to, but I won't." Some people just don't understand,
do they? They give you no peace!!
