Scrabble® is a game of skill.....contrary to the belief that it is a game of luck, involving 90% skill and only 10% luck.
A four player game has a greater element of luck whereas a two player game is almost always pure skill and stratergy
For those using American rules, purchase the OFFICIAL SCRABBLE® PLAYERS DICTIONARY 3rd edition by Merriam Webster and for those using British rules purchase the OFFICIAL SCRABBLE® WORDS 3rd edition By Chambers. People using SOWPODS should obtain the GRIFFON'S WORD LIST
Learn all the two letter and three letter words. There are now 121 two letter words and 1,197 three letter words in the Griffon's Word List. Be sure to learn the meanings too otherwise it is pointless !
